List of Framework-Attesting Nucleic Acid Synthesis Providers & Benchtop Manufacturers
This list serves as a resource for individuals or entities (Customers) that order or request synthetic nucleic acids from providers of synthetic nucleic acids (Providers) or purchases a Manufacturer’s benchtop nucleic acid synthesis equipment (Manufacturers), to comply with §4(b) of the Executive Order on the Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI EO) and the resulting US Framework for Nucleic Acid Synthesis Screening (Framework). These documents established that federal funding agencies will, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law, require that procurement of synthetic nucleic acids and benchtop nucleic acid synthesis equipment using federal life sciences funding be conducted through Providers and Manufacturers that adhere to the Framework. Please refer to For Customers or the FAQs for more information relevant to Customers.
This list includes Providers and Manufacturers that have self-attested to complying with the Framework on their websites and is for informational purposes only. We do not attempt to independently verify or categorize the types of Providers or Manufacturers listed here and do not claim that this list is exhaustive. Inclusion on the list does not imply a recommendation or endorsement of any specific Provider or Manufacturer.
